Some of the kits have very specific lead times before they ship – these are usually related to Crochet Alongs. This date is mentioned in the main product description.
If you would like expedited shipping (3-5 days globally from date of dispatch) – please select World Wide Express (Serviced by DHL) ** not available for all items or to all territories. If you are in an outlying area, please add 2-4 extra days for delivery.
Once goods have shipped, you will be able to track the movement of your goodies under order management in your account.
Important Note About Colours
Actual yarn colours will vary by batch and will vary from what is displayed here, due to lighting, graphics compression and device resolution and colour settings.
A note on Hand-dyed:
Hand-dyed colours have an incredible marble-like effect. Each ball can differ from the next subtly and this creates a natural flow of colour that opaque industrial dying cannot match. Our yarns are all dyed in small batches so there will be variation when multiple batches are used in orders/kits.
Our yarn is made by order, hand dyed and air dried – the good old fashioned way. Handcrafted with love and passion for you.
Please allow around 2 weeks for your yarn to be lovingly created before it is packed and shipped to you!
ABOUT MISS LA MOTTE
Miss La Motte Yarn was born from Karen Cronje’s appreciation of painting, colour and a desire to create sophisticated and beautiful hand dyed, speckled yarns. Pure merino wool provided a surprisingly vivid canvas for creative colour explorations and experiments – and was ultimately not so different from the tools of her daily artistic studio practice. The development of each colourway is viewed as a composition where colour, nuance, texture, layers and contrasting elements unify to create an evocative experience.

Each Miss la Motte skein is dyed with care and love by hand – this means that every skein is unique. Every effort is made to standardise dye colours and quantities within dye lots, but the speckled nature of the yarns will result in idiosyncrasies particular to each skein. To even out knitting/crocheting for large projects, it is recommended that skeins are alternated every few rows to achieve a more uniform effect. Colours and pictures may vary due to lighting, monitor settings, compression and graphics resolutions.
